Lightweight hybrid e-Traction bus

The ideal city bus has a direct-drive EV traction system and is as light as it can be. The e- Traction bus, a formerly known as the X97 Fokker bus concept, meets these criteria: composite body, TheWheel^® SM500/2 motors and a Li-Ion battery energy buffer. This vehicle will serve as demonstrator for the effect of wheel motor weight on the damper characteristics of a light vehicle.
