TheWheel - types and models
For all types of vehicles, e-Traction developed TheWheel direct-drives to suit the needs for your applications. Main advantage of TheWheel is extreme high energy-efficiency, high torque and simple installation. The main electronics are housed inside the the watercooled motor, which brings ease of installation and enables the possibility of high power, high torque at the place where it matters.
TheWheel SM450 - for automotive applications
TheWheel SM450 is now in development phase. Suitable for medium sized cars, torque capabilities for combined city / highway use. Standared features are included: power electronics with CAN-connection, watercooling for both motor and electronics, waterproof housing up to IP64. Go to product page.
TheWheel SM500 - Light to heavy industrial use
Light to medium industrial applications are the specialty of the TheWheel SM500; high payloads are no problem for this type, with torque up to 11000Nm (in boost-mode). Standard features are included: power electronics with CAN-connection, watercooling for both motor and electronics, watertight housing up to IP64. TheWheel SM700 - Heavy duty industrial application
High load capability combined with high torque; the SM700 has the properties to fullfill every industrial need. Max. torque is 18000Nm, directly at the wheel. This properties combined with an extremely low energy consumption makes the SM700 an ideal concept for all-day heavy use. Non-hub versions
TheWheel SM350 - not inwheel - yet direct drive
Features high torque @ high motor speed (up to 3000RPM) in a compact motor; no transmission is necessary. Included in the SM350 package: power electronics with CAN-connection, watercooling for both motor and electronics, watertight housing up to IP64. In single engine configuration, the SM350 has an optional hollow axle with differential. In double engine config, watercooling and electronics can be coupled. Go to product page.
