e-Traction Europe B.V., established in Apeldoorn (the Netherlands), specializes in development and engineering of TheWheel®. Since 2001, e-Traction is continuously developing in-wheel direct-drive motors for applications ranging from 400Nm to 10.000Nm per wheel. Our competitive advantage: vehicles with TheWheel save up to 40% traction energy.
While TheWheel® is ready for production and sale to OEM manufacturers, e-Traction® is also very proficient in designing a vehicle infrastructure that complements TheWheel. To prove that our traction paradigm really works, we are involved in multiple demonstrator projects in which we are vehicle system architect.
In our past and present demonstrator projects, we have shown that:
